BTW, my name isn't really Jose Jimenez. I just don't want much of my personal info out there in this mess called the internet. I like my privacy.......which is another thing you can get at Piney Point Resort.

My husband just returned from a week long (pre-planned) vacation during Hurricane Irma. Jane and Wayne are beyond amazingly awesome and treated us great. Their dogs are friendly with the guests and other dogs. Jane drops everything to help you and ensure your stay is most enjoyable. Wayne is always hard at work as well; finding things that need repair and making sure everyone has fully working cabins. We have decided to make this our annual vacation spot! Oh!! I almost forgot....the fishing is amazing!!!

Newly remodeled bait shop with on water fuel service and boat ramp.

Sooooo, we had one bad experience a few years ago. I think that it is water over the bridge and we are going to give it another shot. Jane and Wayne are good people and they deserve a second chance. Affordable accommodations and perfect for the all day bass fishermen. See you Friday a.m...we'll be shhhhhh...quiet.

If you want a family fishing get-a-way place where the operators are accomodating and friendly this is the place. Where you can get most anything you need from refreshments to those nasty surprising boat repair items. Where you can get live bait or an assortment of artificials you somehow forgot. Where you can get fuel with no ethanol added. This is your place. This is MY place. Has been for about 14 years. Been through 3 different operators, but these people are heads up the best ever.

My fishing buddy and I recently visited Piney Point for a second time although I've been going to Watts Barr for over 35 years. I was frankly very disappointed - We drove all night and arrived at 530am - we quietly pulled in and slept for 1 hour then launched the boat to go fish....Later that day while talking to some other guests, when I told him we arrived early that morning, his comments were "oh so you are the idiots that showed up so early' - My only thought was Jane made these comments because we apparently woke them when we drove in - We simply wanted to make the most out of our 4 days of vacation and get on the water as soon as possible. At the end of the stay, we arrived back to the resort from fishing at around 715pm and asked to check out - While we were paying our tab with cash, we were told it was a 'bother' to them to have to check us out since the office had already been closed - I'm amazed that by taking some ones money and that is in the service business considers taking our cash was a bother. I'll admit, Jane and Wayne were nice people but this apparently showed a little more about who they are. We were good visitors, nice to everyone, treated the property with respect, kept the inside and out clean and were quiet at night.....The one bedroom cottage appeared to be clean but smelled very bad -- we chose not to complain given we were only sleeping there. My friends and I will continue to visit the lake every year but WILL NOT ever stay at Piney Point....I'm not sure why Jane was so put out by us -- We were asked by 3 other places on the lake to come stay with them in the future....I'm sorry to say that my friends and I will definitely take our money and enjoyment of Watts Barr to another resort......unbelievable! If I may, I would recommend the people at Euchee Resort-
